With help from the Hotel Grand Chancellor’s in house audio visual partner Scene Change, access to some of Australia’s most up to date audio visual and IT equipment is at your finger tips. Helpful and professional staff can assist with all of your AV and IT needs including our super fast wireless internet server.


      


 

External Catering

External catering is just another element to what we can do exceptionally well at the Hotel Grand Chancellor. We consider this as part of your event and take on the responsibility of organizing every detail of your entire experience. IT

The Hotel's in-house supplier of Audio Visual services, Scene Change, has developed and installed one of the fastest, most reliable wireless networks in the country allowing conference delegates fast, easy access to the internet. Internal broadcasting of conference sessions from room to room or web streamed to the internet is possible using this system with transmission speeds of up to 300 Mbps. The system utilizes the latest Ruckus technology and allows presentations to be transmitted from a central Speakers Preparation area to a designated conference room anywhere within the hotel in milliseconds. Last minute changes are simple and can be made before the presenter enters the room. The Ruckus technology opens up a whole new world of web 2.0 where multiple delegates can use applications such as Twitter and Facebook to make live comments on conference sessions. The system allows for up to 900 delegates to be connected at any given time with little to no impact on overall connection speed. The wireless system can also provide high data security similar to that of a hard wired system. Some of the security features used to manage this network cannot be found in any other WLAN system currently on the market.
