Located on the ground floor of the Hotel Grand Chancellor Launceston, Avenue Restaurant offers all diners an exquisite menu selection, an intimate setting and relaxed atmosphere. Avenue Restaurant offers our guests and the general public a fantastic a la carte menu for evening dining, extensive options for breakfast including our famous breakfast buffet and a range of fresh light meals for lunch.

The Hotel Bar is the perfect location to unwind after your conference or business meeting. Open from 4pm, Monday to Saturday, the bar is located on the ground floor to the left of reception. Offering a large range of Tasmanian beers on tap, Tasmanian wines and your favorite cocktail, the Hotel Bar is the ideal pre dinner location.



Avenue Restaurant - Breakfast

Opening times: 06:30 - 10:00hrs
The Avenue Restaurant can cater for all your breakfast needs, whether it’s an Express Breakfast to fuel you for your busy day, a Continental Buffet for a light and fresh start to the day or a Hot Buffet for a full and hearty meal. Our friendly breakfast crew can also assist you with barista perfect coffees or alternatives to meet your dietary needs
   
   

Avenue Restaurant – Lunch

Opening times: 11:00 - 15:00hrs
Take some time out to enjoy the many temptations available from the Avenue Restaurant’s lunch menu. Light meals prepared using fresh Tasmanian ingredients are a delight to both your taste buds and your wallet. With all meals under $15 the Avenue Restaurant is the perfect spot for either a business lunch or a long lunch with friends.

Grand Afternoon Tea

Opening times: 14:00 - 16:00hrs
From the carefully prepared table settings to the wonderful cakes and biscuits, our delectable High Teas are a delightful way to celebrate any occasion. We can cater for both small and large bookings and pride ourselves on making your occasion a special treat for all involved.
   
   

Avenue Restaurant – Dinner

Opening times: 17:30 - 22:00hrs
With flavours influenced by fresh Tasmanian produce, our a la carte menu is sure to delight. Our extensive wine list offers a range of both Tasmanian and main land wines to complement your meal. Last but not least is our indulgent dessert and coffee menu – the perfect way to top off your dining experience at the Avenue Restaurant.

Hotel Bar

Opening times: 16:00 - late
Spend some time in our Hotel Bar and experience the extensive range of Tasmanian Beer and Wine we have available. Our bar staff can also create the perfect drink for you from our wide range of spirits and liqueurs.
