With 8 rooms to choose from with capacity ranging up to 240 delegates theatre style, be rest assured your meeting or event is in experienced hands.





The events team at the James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor can arrange anything from a working breakfast to a spectacular themed gala dinners, catering for up to 200 guests.



Room Rates

All rooms will be set according to your requirements with linen clothed tables, mints, iced water, name cards, notepads and pens as standard inclusions. Individual room hire rates are available or you may prefer to book a delegate package, depending upon your requirements.



Room Layouts

As the Chancellor Rooms are located on one dedicated floor, there is flexibility for hiring multiple rooms or the entire floor if required.



Delegate Packages

Choose from our weekday or weekend day delegate packages to suit your budget. All packages include lunch in iconic Whitby’s Restaurant.




We offer a wide selection of crafted menus designed by our Executive Chef as well as being able to tailor make to suit any occasion or special event.




We can organise a variety of IT and audio-visual equipment to meet your multi-media needs.
