Wellington, New Zealand (25 September 2009) - The James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor sponsored a charity golf tournament for the Mary Potter Hospice on 18 September 2009 at Hutt Golf Club featuring the All Black Legends.

The day began at the Hotel’s marquee located at the 18th hole with a Press Conference at 8:30am. During the Tournament, the award-winning Hotel Executive Chef served up culinary delights. A dinner followed at the Golf Club’s Club House featuring a charity auction.

Post dinner, All Black Legends, Sir Colin Mead and Ian Kirkpatrick were among the VIP guests at Sojourn Café and Bar in the James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor. The evening at the bar included an additional auction, raising further funds for Mary Potter Hospice.
